02 · Improve

Website improvements. Make the site you have work harder.

Speed, mobile layout, forms, accessibility, and the small changes that have sat on the list for months. I work on the site you already have, and I'll tell you when a change isn't worth making.

§ 01 What it covers

Changes tied to what they cost you now.

Visitors who give up on a slow page, enquiries that go missing, staff working around a site that fights them. Each change on the list should fix one of those.

  • 01Speed work, especially on phones: measured first, then the two or three causes that matter.
  • 02Forms that send reliably and reach the right inbox or CRM.
  • 03Mobile layout and navigation that work on the phones your customers use.
  • 04Accessibility fixes: contrast, keyboard use, labels and headings.
  • 05Metadata, sitemap and structured data, so search and AI tools read the site correctly.
  • 06Content and layout changes your CMS makes awkward.

§ 02 How it works

A list, a quote, then the work.

  1. 1

You send the list, or the problem

A rough list and a link is enough.

  2. 2

    I check, then quote

Within one working day. If the cause needs finding first, I'll suggest a Triage.

  3. 3

    I make the changes

With access you can revoke afterwards. Changes are logged as I go.

  4. 4

    You get a summary

What changed, why, and before-and-after measurements where they apply.

§ 03 Price and terms

Quoted before I start.

Every job is scoped and priced up front. Any time estimate is indicative until I've looked at the site properly.

  • A fixed quote for an agreed list of changes.
  • If a change turns out bigger once I'm in, I stop and ask.
  • If a change isn't worth the money, I'll say so.
  • Notes your team, or another developer, can maintain from.

Questions

How long will it take?

It depends on the changes. You'll get an estimate with the quote, and it stays indicative until I've looked at the site properly.

What if it's slow and we don't know why?

Start with Technical Triage. I measure first, then quote for fixing the causes that matter.

Do I need to do anything myself?

Give me access and answer a few questions. You get a summary of what changed and why.

Can you work alongside our developer or agency?

Yes. I can pick up the technical part and leave notes your team can maintain from.
