Can AI tools read your business website?

Check it free. If it needs fixing, we fix it the same day, and you only pay if your score goes up.

Run the free baseline scan

Free. It tells you whether your site has anything to fix before any work starts.

The problem

When someone asks an AI assistant about a business like yours, the assistant works from what it can read on the web. If your site blocks AI crawlers, has no machine-readable description of your business, or has no sitemap, there is little for it to read.

Many owners never check, because nothing on the website looks wrong.

What we do: The AI-Readiness Pass

Five steps, done for you.

  1. Baseline scan. We run the checker on your site and record your starting score.
  2. Open the door. We make sure AI crawlers can reach your pages.
  3. Say who you are. We add a machine-readable description of your business, using schema and an llms.txt file.
  4. Map it. We add or fix your sitemap and canonical links.
  5. Re-scan and report. We run the same checker again and send you the before and after.

You give us access. We do the work. You get a plain-language summary of what changed, plus a report listing each check that passed, not just the total.

What you get

  • A free baseline scan first. If your site has nothing to fix, we tell you, and we do not take the job.
  • The work done for you. You do not need to learn what schema or llms.txt means.
  • A before and after report. The same checker, before and after, with every individual check listed so you can see what changed.
  • A plain-language summary. What we changed and why, in words you can read in a couple of minutes.

Proof

lucence.co, our own site

On lucence.co, our own site, the checker score went from 44 to 88. It later scored 90 and 92 on re-runs.

That is our own site, not a client's. The score measures whether AI tools can read the site. Client results will appear here once clients have agreed to share them.

The guarantee, and its limit

You pay after the re-scan, not before. If the re-scan shows no score improvement on a site that had fixable issues, you pay nothing.

The guarantee covers your checker score. We do not promise that ChatGPT or any other AI assistant will name or recommend your business.

How long it takes

We aim to finish the work and run the re-scan the same day.

The one exception is caching. If your host or CDN keeps serving old files, the re-scan can take longer to show the changes. In that case we wait for a re-scan that reflects the work before we invoice you.

What it costs

NZ$690, one-off. You pay it after the re-scan, and only if your score went up.

Who this is for

Owners of small local businesses, such as trades, cafes, clinics and shops, who run a basic website and have not yet looked at how AI tools see it.

Who this is not for

  • Sites we cannot edit, for example a locked-down hosted plan that gives us no access to the files or page settings. We tell you this at the free scan, before any work.
  • Sites that have nothing to fix. We tell you that too.
  • Anyone who wants a promise of being named or recommended by an AI assistant. We do not make that promise.

Questions

Will AI assistants recommend my business after this?

We cannot promise that. This makes your site readable to AI tools and shows the improvement as a score. Whether an assistant names your business depends on things outside our control.

What if my score does not go up?

If the site had fixable issues at the baseline scan and the re-scan shows no improvement, you pay nothing.

Do I need to change anything on my website myself?

No. You give us access, we make the changes, and you receive a summary of what changed.

What does the free scan involve?

You run the checker at tools.lucence.co on your site. It shows your starting score. If we think the site is a fit, we talk about the fix. If it is not, we tell you.
